Veda Hurt
A native of Cardwell, Missouri, Veda Hurt didn't get her bachelors degree (from Western New Mexico University) until after she had spent several years raising her three daughters, who she humbly describes as "wonderful, beautiful and exceptional." Her first teaching job was in New Mexico, but she and her husband moved to Tennessee shortly thereafter.
Mrs. Hurt has been at CCCHS for 11 years and currently teaches Vocational Keyboarding, Accounting and Career Management (but she has also taught English classes and probably will again someday). Her email address is hurtv@cheatham.k12.tn.us.
